Argentine/Barcelona forward player Lionel Messi was presented with his sixth Golden Boot award after scoring 36 goals for the Catalan side in the last season, and was rated better than anyone else in the European top divisions as well as one of the candidates for the Ballon D’Or.
Lionel was captured with his family for photos, his sons Tiago and Mateo, and his wife Antonella on Wednesday 16th October 2019 after receiving the award in Barcelona, Spain. Messi totaled 36 goals in La Liga during the 2018/19 season.
According to record, Messi was three goals ahead of rival Kylian Mbappe, who scored 33 times for Paris St Germain as they won France’s Ligue 1.
It may be recall that Messi won his first Golden Boot in 2010, although he admitted he was disappointed to have missed out on Champions League glory again after Barcelona lost a 3-0.
