Twenty four years old Nigeria footballer Andrew Akingbaje has been sentenced to 32 months(3years) in prison after being found guilty of beating up a woman outside a nightclub on January 1, 2019.
Andrew Akingbaje was jailed at Inner London Crown Court for the violence and assault on Monday August 19th 2019, for beating up a woman outside a nightclub in Clapham in the United Kingdom on New Year’s Eve.
In January 4th 2019, according to eyewitness, Krystal Misson(Victim) and her two female friends were hanging outside Lotus Bar in Clapham when Andrew got into an argument and at that point attacked Ms. Misson, punching her several times and dragging her along the ground by her hair.
A second attack followed and unknown to him was recorded by victim’s friend, the video clip showed how Andrew Akingbaje repeatedly hit Miss Mission on the face and body, causing her to fall to the ground.The viral video on social media, later led to Akingbaje’s subsequent arrest.
This wouldn’t be the first time Mr Andrew will serve jail terms, he was previously jailed for grievous bodily harm (GBH) against another woman and drugs other offence.
